Karen Sandy

Karen Sandy is a citizen of the Cayuga Nation, Wolf Clan, at Six Nations of the Grand River Territory and is the Coordinator for the Six Nations Language Commission. She has a Master's degree in Public Administration from Queens University.

Roronhiakehte deer

Roronhiakehte (Kehte) Deer belongs to the Mohawk Nation and the Bear Clan. He holds a Masters in Linguistics from Western University. He speaks the Cayuga language and continues to learn Mohawk and Onondaga. He has been involved in language revitalization projects for over fifteen years. He is the Linguist for the Six Nations Language Commission.

Cheyanne Doxtador

Cheyanne is Oneida Nation, Bear Clan. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology with a Minor in Indigenous Studies from McMaster University, as well as a Certificate in Leadership and Management in the Not-For-Profit Sector from McMaster/Mohawk College. Cheyanne has previous experience in the area of language revitalization, including in language resource development. She started with the Language Commission at the end of April 2022 as a Planning and Development Officer.
