WORKING TOGETHER TO REVITALIZE OUR LANGUAGES

Presently, the Six Nations Language Commission provides support and works on projects with three of the six Haudenosaunee languages: Cayuga, Mohawk and Onondaga. For the past fifteen plus years, the SNLC has supported adult immersion language programs, elementary school programs, and daycare programs while continuing to collaborate on language revitalization initiatives, create language resources, and promote language within the community.

Currently, the SNLC supports adult immersion programming for three languages, Mohawk, Onondaga and Cayuga
